Meet
Jackie Quinones

Jackie Quinones is a multi-hyphenate talent - writer, director, actor, and producer - whose work centers on emotionally rich, character-driven stories exploring identity, trauma, and resilience. She crafts hybrid-genre narratives that explore social and political issues through the lens of fractured relationships and complex family dynamics. Committed to amplifying unheard and underrepresented voices, her work is both personal and thought-provoking.

Jackie's debut feature film,
"Miles Away" -  a heartfelt comedy about resilience, executive produced by and starring Luis Guzmán and Andre Royo, which she wrote, directed, produced, and also appears in - premiered to a sold out audience at the Austin Film Festival in October 2025. The film has earned her the 2025 New York Women In Film and Television Best Direction of a Narrative Feature Award, as well as the 2025 Best Narrative Feature Honorable Mention at the Urbanworld Film Festival, and is currently still on the festival circuit.

Her debut short film, "SICK", screened at multiple festivals including  GenreBlast Film Festival (Best Actress win, Best Actor nomination, 2019) , Nightmares Film Festival (Best Actress nominee, 2019), and the Official Latino Film Festival (now NVISION Latino Film & Music Festival, Best Drama nominee, 2019). It also earned Best Hair and Makeup at the 2019 Detroit Shetown Women’s Film Festival. Her second short film, "Dandelion" (in post-production), was a Quarterfinalist in the 2018 ScreenCraft Short Film Screenplay Competition.

Quinones is also the writer of the original pilot
"Crimson Ties", which was a Semifinalist at the 2024 Atlanta Film Festival, and a Quarterfinalist at both the 2023 Raindance Film Festival and the 2023 ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship. Her sci-fi drama "Genesis" placed as a Quarterfinalist in the 2020 TSL Free Screenplay Contest and is currently in active fundraising.

Quinones made her film debut as an actress in the 2x Independent Spirit Award Nominated "Anne B. Real", then gained national visibility as a correspondent and host on "American Latino TV" and "Latination". She went on to star oppostie Wesley Snipes, Luis Guzman and Cybill Shepherd in Mario Van Peebles' "Hard Luck", and has since appeared in "CSI: NY", "LOST TAPES", "Confessions Of A Closeted People Pleaser", and stage productions including "Guinea Pig Solo" and "Latinologues". Her short film "SICK" earned her a Best Actress Award at the Genreblast Film Festival and a Best Actress Nomination at the Nightmares Film Festival.

In addition to her own projects, Quinones has served as a marketing and development consultant on several studio features including "Molly’s Game", "Bad Moms Christmas", "The Gift", "Mile 22", "Secret in Their Eyes" and more.
